Medina Lifts Curve to 6-3 Triumph
The Altoona Curve downed the Bowie Baysox, 6-3, at Prince George's Stadium. Dusty Medina led the way, going 4-for-5 for Altoona. Nick Fowler, who is tied for 4th in the EL in innings pitched with 104.2, was the winning pitcher. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. The win has Altoona at 28-45.

With Altoona leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Medina hit a cutter from Steve Brown for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Curve ahead, 3-0.
