The Columbus Clippers got a strong performance from pitcher Orlando Suarez, who stymied the Indianapolis offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Huntington Park. The loss makes Indianapolis 11-15.

Zachary Moody had a big run-scoring double for the Clippers in the bottom of the third inning. With Columbus leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a curveball from Russ Einhorn and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Clippers ahead, 3-1.

"That's baseball," said Indianapolis manager John LaRossa. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
