The Binghamton Mets picked up a win at NYSEG Stadium, taking down the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 3-1. Starting pitcher David Pico was a big reason why. Pico, now 7-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Jason Bingham closed the door for Binghamton, picking up his 5th save of the year.

Dustin Friend had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Binghamton. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Binghamton in front, 3-1.

Friend called the win "an overall solid one."
