Mets Snatch Late Win
The Binghamton Mets faced a tough opponent in New Hampshire pitcher Josue Toala, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium by a final score of 6-1. Toala went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Harry Sommer earned the win to go to 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. Binghamton is 39-38 and New Hampshire, with the loss, 48-30.

Binghamton used a timely hit from Ray Partipilo to get the win. The first baseman delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mets on top, 5-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Partipilo said. "That's how it goes."
