SeaWolves Fall Short, 7-6, at Bowie
The timely hitting of Jesus Garcia helped the Bowie Baysox down the Erie SeaWolves, 7-6. Garcia went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Baysox. The save went to Mike McLaughlin, number 5 for him. The 4th-place Baysox now have a win-loss record of 34-45.

Isaiah Brown went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Bowie. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Mike Jones. It was his 19th RBI of the season.

Baysox manager Victor Griego wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
