The bat of Ryan Druck helped the Altoona Curve top the Harrisburg Senators, 4-1. Druck went 2-3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for Altoona. Andy Levings, now 4-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. With the win, the Curve improved to 54-32.

With Altoona leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Druck hit a run-scoring single off Harrisburg hurler Matt Norway. It was the 61st hit of the season for Druck and put his team ahead, 3-1.

Said losing manager Tan Timmermans: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
