The Trenton Thunder stormed past the Binghamton Mets, 12-8, at Arm & Hammer Park. Trenton shortstopTony Carrillo led the hit parade. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. The Thunder go to 34-52, putting them last in the Northern Division.

In the bottom of the third, 24-year old second baseman Jesus Cardenas hit a bases-clearing triple. The 5th triple of the season for the Trenton second baseman put the Thunder on top, 7-6.
