The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Behind a fine performance from Will Gilmore, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats knocked off the Trenton Thunder, 8-7. Gilmore went 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Fisher Cats. New Hampshire pitcher Oscar Mota got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jeff Tinch got the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by George Strauss in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff Tinch to win the game for New Hampshire. The home crowd went nuts.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said New Hampshire manager Cesar Banuelos.

The victory gives New Hampshire a record of 52-33.
