Sea Dogs Get Extra-Inning, 15-14 Win
Sam Frerichs was the difference-maker for the Portland Sea Dogs in what turned into a shootout with the Altoona Curve. Frerichs went 4-for-6 in the extra-inning, 15-14 Sea Dogs win. Portland is 40-48 and Altoona, with the loss, 36-52.

Portland used the timely hitting of Josh Dominy to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 15-14. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Altoona manager Josh Hill said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score that many runs, you expect to win the game."
