Bright Plays Big Role in Trenton Win
The Trenton Thunder topped the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7-5, in Eastern League action at Arm & Hammer Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Trenton pitcher Alan Bright. Trenton goes to 38-49, Richmond to 44-44.

Bright's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 14 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. Bright, who is tied for 6th in the EL in quality starts with 11, goes to 7-7 on the year with 107 strikeouts.

"I had a good game plan," said Bright. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Ben Rose said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
