In Extras, Flying Squirrels Beat Thunder, 2-1
In a low-scoring game between Richmond and Trenton, Jorge Ochoa was fantastic. The Flying Squirrels left-hander, who is tied for 6th in the EL with a 1.15 WHIP, helped his team beat the Thunder, 2-1, in 10 innings. Rafael Garibay closed it out for his 3rd save. With the win, Richmond pushed its record to 48-41.

Richmond used the timely hitting of J.D. Wagner to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Flying Squirrels on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We needed two runs to win," said Flying Squirrels manager Fernando Melendez, "and that's what we got."
