The Binghamton Mets stopped the Hartford Yard Goats, 7-4, at NYSEG Stadium. The Mets got a big game from Calvin Yelland, who went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 5 RBI. Binghamton starter David Dunfee was credited with the win after throwing 98 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 6-4. Binghamton is now 38-50, Hartford 52-37.

Yelland contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Binghamton in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Yelland took a fastball from Tony Cotto and stroked the double to right. His 3rd double of the season allowed the Mets to leap in front, 2-1.
