Sea Dogs Pick Up 3-2 Road Win Over Altoona
Portland pitcher Rafael Acevedo did his part in helping his team beat the Altoona Curve, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Dan Palumbo was credited with the save for Portland, his 15th of the season. At 42-47, the Sea Dogs find themselves in third place in the Northern Division.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Danny Barriga? The Portland third baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 3-2. For the game, Barriga had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Rafael threw the ball very, very well," said Portland manager Dennis Owens.
