Yard Goats Get 8-3 Win Versus Richmond
No one was more impactful than Bobby Young in the 8-3 Hartford win over Richmond. Young, who is tied for 9th in the EL in RBI with 43, went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Jonathan Lopez was the winner. He's now 6-2. The loser was Tim King. Hartford goes to 54-38. The win puts them 7½ games up in their division.

Dario Nunez had a big 3-run home run for the Yard Goats in the bottom of the first inning. With Hartford trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Tim King, who is tied for 2nd in the EL in strikeouts with 114, and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Yard Goats ahead, 3-1.
