Yard Goats Roll Over Flying Squirrels, 9-2
|
Hartford Yard Goats starter Chris Kemerer kept the Richmond Flying Squirrels hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 9-2 win. Perry Hiller locked down his 3rd save. With the win over Richmond, the Yard Goats improved to 56-36.
Hartford grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Gabe Nino delivered a 2-run single, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Yard Goats.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Kemerer.
