The Akron RubberDucks went down to defeat to Jordan Badillo and his Altoona teammates. The final score was 7-2, in favor of the Curve. Badillo, now 8-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Curve own a robust 59-34 mark.

Steve Urich had a big 2-run home run for the Curve in the top of the fifth inning. With Altoona leading 3-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a circle change from Hugo Quevedo and swatted a home run to right. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Curve ahead, 5-1.
