Wiedemann Finds Groove in 3-1 Triumph
The Reading Fightin Phils topped the Altoona Curve, 3-1, in Eastern League action at People's Natural Gas Field. The standout performance belonged to Reading pitcher and Madison, West Virginia, native Dusty Wiedemann. The Fightin Phils are now 51-42, while the Curve fall to 32-60.

Wiedemann earned the win to move to 7-4. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits, striking out 8 and walking 2.

Wiedemann told a Reading Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
