Senators Lose to Mets in Walk Off
|
The Binghamton Mets did just enough to secure a victory over the Harrisburg Senators, 2-1, at NYSEG Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Lorenzo Flecha. The Mets sit in 4th place in the Northern Division with a record of 48-46.
The Mets relied on shortstop Jared Workman for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"The house was rockin'," said Workman.
