Broski Now 11-5 Following 3-1 Win
|
Soggy conditions did not keep Hartford and Trenton from playing their scheduled game.
Lance Broski, who leads the EL in wins with 11, was in top form in a tight contest between Hartford and Trenton. The Yard Goats right-hander helped his team beat the Thunder, 3-1. The Yard Goats sit in first place in the Northern Division with a record of 59-37.
Broski was in the zone, shutting down Trenton hitters over 7 innings. Broski, who threw 82 pitches, allowed 1 run on 1 hit. He also tallied 6 punchouts.
"Lance was throwing free and easy," said Hartford manager Jerry Jones.
