Tony Carrillo had a good game, but he could not keep the Trenton Thunder from falling, 8-7, to the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond. The Trenton shortstop went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. The win went to Aubrey DeLuca in relief, making him now 4-1. Jeff Tinch took the loss for Trenton. The Flying Squirrels are now 46-51.

The decisive blow was delivered by John Pond in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff Tinch to win the game for Richmond. The home crowd went nuts.

"That was a good game -- all the way through," said Pond.
