The Harrisburg Senators topped the Portland Sea Dogs, 5-4, in Eastern League action at FNB Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Harrisburg pitcher Andres Rangel. With the win, Harrisburg raised its record to 56-42.
Right Fielder Jay Cool made an impact for Harrisburg, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Kevin Barrington in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Cool went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"When you win, you always have confidence," said Harrisburg skipper Tan Timmermans. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
