Rogalski, Fisher Cats March to 6-1 Victory
|
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats welcomed the Harrisburg Senators to an night game at FNB Field.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats bumped off the Harrisburg Senators, 6-1, at FNB Field. Bob Rogalski hit 1 single and 2 doubles. He also had 3 RBI. Chris Valentine was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 1 run on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts.
There was more than one reason the Fisher Cats beat the Senators, but Rogalski's big at-bat in the top of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
New Hampshire manager Wilson Acevedo commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
New Hampshire is now 45-56.
