3-0 Loss to Thunder Extends Bowie Losing Streak
|
T.J. Grady never let Bowie get something going. The Trenton left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Thunder to a 3-0 win. Trenton reliever John Henry picked up the win, raising his record to 3-5. Steve Vaillancourt was tagged with the loss. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Bowie.
Matt Null drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Trenton. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the sixth, Null came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Thunder in front, 1-0.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Null told a Trenton Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
