Trenton Dismisses Binghamton, 5-2
Trenton turned a good performance from starting pitcher Bryan Brown into a 5-2 triumph over the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium. Brown, now 12-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. Kirk Bross earned the save, his 12th.

Trenton center fielder Ricky Aguirre contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a slider to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 92nd hit of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 3-0.

In postgame comments to the Trenton Observer, Aguirre said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The Thunder now have a record of 50-53 with the win over Binghamton.
