Yard Goats Win 3-2 Walk-Off
The Hartford Yard Goats picked up a win at New Britain Stadium, knocking off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-2. On the mound for Hartford was right-hander Vinny Herrick, who played a pivotal role in the win. The first-place Yard Goats have won 4 consecutive games.

Jon Coverly was the walk-off hero for Hartford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yard Goats designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

After the game, Hartford manager Dimitri Kourtis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
