Senators Take Down Curve, 8-5
|
The Harrisburg Senators trumped the Altoona Curve, 8-5, in 12 innings. Harrisburg shortstop Jake Agrusa was impactful. He belted 3 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. Harrisburg reliever Mitch Jarrell picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ian Roth took the loss. Harrisburg, at 54-49, holds down 4th place in the Southern Division.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 12th, until Agrusa delivered big-time for Harrisburg, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Ian Roth. The game-changing hit put the Senators on top, 8-5.
"We played hard and won," said Agrusa. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
