Starting pitcher John Speer did his part in helping the New Hampshire Fisher Cats thwart the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-1. Preston Holub recorded his 15th save for New Hampshire. New Hampshire bumps their record to 52-51 with the win.
Tony Sauceda helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-1, Fisher Cats.
"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Sauceda.
