Hartford center fielder Javier Millan helped his team beat the Altoona Curve, 7-2. Millan went 4 for 5 for the Yard Goats. The first-place Yard Goats now have a win-loss record of 63-42.

Chris Salomon had a big 2-run double for the Yard Goats in the bottom of the first inning. With Hartford leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Chris Lemieux, who is tied for 2nd in the EL in quality starts with 13, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Yard Goats ahead, 4-1.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Millan.
