Bowie parlayed a decent outing from starter Vince McMillion into a solid win over the Portland Sea Dogs. The final score was 4-3. Matthew Wallace picked up the save, his 3rd. Bowie is now 58-48, while Portland is 51-56.

The Sea Dogs had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Baysox going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Jim McGee came to the plate. McGee hit a 2-run triple on a 0-1 fastball from Portland hurler Ryan Sobon. It was McGee's 1st triple of the year.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Bowie manager Julio Garcia.
