The Bowie Baysox rode a solid performance from 25-year-old starting pitcher Rafael de Jesus to a win, beating the Reading Fightin Phils, 5-1, at FirstEnergy Stadium. The first-place Baysox now sit at 77-32.

Early in the game, catcher Ryan Binkley had a 2-run home run for Bowie. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Baysox on top, 3-1.

"Once I cross that chalk line, I'm all business," said de Jesus.
