The New Hampshire Fisher Cats overcame a good performance by Trenton second baseman Joe McPaul to knock off Trenton, 6-5, in 10 innings at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. McPaul was 2 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Fisher Cats raised their record to 61-49.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when New Hampshire pinch hitter David Trujillo, facing Mike Zizak, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Fisher Cats the 6-5 win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Cesar Banuelos, the New Hampshire skipper.
