Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Sea Dogs
Portland Sea Dogs starter Kevin Barrington was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Binghamton Mets, 6-3. Portland reliever Kevin Chapman picked up the win. Cory Lankford took the loss for Binghamton. Portland is in last place in the Northern Division with a record of 50-61.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Mike LaBonte came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Binghamton pitcher Cory Lankford, he hit a 1-2 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Portland on top, 4-3.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said LaBonte.
