The performance of Mario Delgado proved critical in helping Harrisburg beat Akron, 7-6. The Senators first baseman belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Sam Payne picked up the win in relief. Adam Newman took the loss for Akron. The Senators bumped their record to 66-45 with this win.

With Harrisburg leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Delgado hit a fastball from Adam Newman for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Senators ahead, 6-0.
