The Akron RubberDucks and New Hampshire Fisher Cats played an exciting game.

The Akron RubberDucks picked up a win at Canal Park, taking down the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 3-2. Starting pitcher Jake Wahlstrom was a big reason why. Raul Cano recorded the save, making him 10 for 12.

Roger Gallacher dealt the Fisher Cats a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Akron leading 2-0, Gallacher hit a 0-2 changeup for a run-scoring single.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Wahlstrom said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

With the win, the RubberDucks sit at 68-44.
