Erie catcher Justin Clair was instrumental in helping the SeaWolves triumph, 11-2, over the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Clair was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Erie currently is in third place in the Southern Division at 61-51.

Erie used a well-timed hit by Randy Henderson to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the SeaWolves ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Erie manager Toby West was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
