Toledo picked up a win at Fifth Third Field, bumping off the Indianapolis Indians, 4-3. Pitcher Miguel Gandara was a major reason the Mud Hens emerged victorious. Gandara, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 10, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The win puts Toledo at 15-14 this season.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Mike O'Neal had a game-changing hit. The Mud Hens pinch hitter slammed a run-scoring single off Adrian Snoeberger, making the score 4-2, Toledo.

"Miguel gave us everything he had," said Toledo manager Jesse Hansen.
