The Trenton Thunder had no problem beating the Reading Fightin Phils, 13-1, at FirstEnergy Stadium. Abraham Mendoza led the onslaught. He went 4-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6 for Trenton. Trenton is now 45-72, Reading 46-70.

Cris Silva, the Trenton first baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to make the score 4-0, Thunder. For the game, Silva went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
