The Buffalo Bisons topped the Syracuse Chiefs, 9-0, in International League action at Coca-Cola Field. The standout performance belonged to Buffalo pitcher and San Mateo, California, native Brian Harvey. Harvey went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-0. Kevin Qualls got the save, the 4th for him this season.

John Carr had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put Buffalo on top, 3-0.
