The Richmond Flying Squirrels had to reckon with Bowie Baysox hurler Mark Ober. Ober, who is tied for 2nd in the EL with a 2.08 ERA, overwhelmed the opposition in the 7-0 Baysox triumph. The loss makes Richmond 68-51.
Ober allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.2 innings for the Baysox. He walked no one. With the win, he is 8-3 with an ERA of 2.08.
"When I go out there," said Ober, "the last thing I want to do is let my teammates down."
