Curve Suffer 6-3 Setback
|
The Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Altoona Curve, 6-3. Doing his part was first baseman Steve Abrahamson, who was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times. Portland has now won 4 in a row.
Portland third baseman Danny Campos contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a sinker into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the Sea Dogs ahead, 6-2.
"The most important thing is that we won," Abrahamson said.
