Harrisburg center fielder Jake Krause had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to Richmond at The Diamond. Krause was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. Richmond reliever Venceslau Mana was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Chris Phillips took the loss. With the win, the Flying Squirrels have a record of 53-67.

Tied up with the Senators in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Flying Squirrels got a boost from third baseman Alex Perez. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Perez saw a full count fastball from Chris Phillips and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Richmond on top, 4-3.

"Good win for us," said Perez. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
