Fightin Phils Hang 4-1 Loss on Yard Goats

Led by Nick Sweet, the Reading Fightin Phils downed the Hartford Yard Goats, 4-1. Sweet went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Fightin Phils. Reading's record now stands at 48-71, placing them last in the Southern Division.
With Reading leading 2-1 in the top of the ninth, Sweet hit a splitter from Nate Jeffries for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Fightin Phils ahead, 4-1.
Sweet called the win "a team effort."
