The Trenton Thunder knocked off the Erie SeaWolves, 6-5, in 10 innings at Arm & Hammer Park. Mauro Alvite hit 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Nate Merritt in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Rory Khoury took the loss. The win makes Trenton 58-63.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Alvite hit a curveball from Rory Khoury for a run-scoring double. The Thunder, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Alvite.
