The Bowie Baysox knocked off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 8-2, in Eastern League action at Prince George's Stadium. Bowie pitcher and Dalton, Georgia, native Eric Thomas had an outstanding performance. After today's action, Bowie sits at 63-59, while New Hampshire falls to 72-50.

The Baysox picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

Thomas told a Bowie Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
