Spirited fans greeted the Reading Fightin Phils for their clash with the Altoona Curve.

Altoona Curve starter Josh Mack turned in a top-notch performance against the Reading Fightin Phils at FirstEnergy Stadium. The result was a win for the Curve, 5-0. The first-place Curve have won 4 consecutive games.

The Curve benefited from an error in the top of the fifth inning. Altoona was leading 1-0 when Moges Mukanda hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Altoona in front, 2-0.

"Josh really held it together well," said Altoona manager Gerardo Zarco.
