The Altoona Curve stopped the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 5-4, at The Diamond. The Curve got a big game from Dustin McKenna, who was 2 for 5 with a home run. Altoona reliever Joe Regush picked up the win, while Jim Melendez took the loss for Richmond. At 43-78, the Curve claim last place in the Southern Division.

Julio Rodriguez hit a 2-run triple off Jim Melendez in the top of the second, which put the Curve in front, 3-1. Rodriguez had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
