The Trenton Thunder picked up a win at Arm & Hammer Park, downing the Erie SeaWolves, 5-3. On the mound for Trenton was right-hander Raul Novoa, who played a pivotal role in the win. Kirk Bross closed out the game, earning his 17th save. The 4th-place Thunder are now 59-63, the SeaWolves 65-56.

The Thunder got a big at-bat from first baseman Chris Sebastian. For the game, Sebastian was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Trenton a 3-0 lead.

"Raul is a tough competitor," said Trenton manager Ben Rose.
