The Altoona Curve beat the Binghamton Mets, 6-3, at NYSEG Stadium. Bobby Evans, the 16th overall pick in the 2108 draft, starred for Altoona. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Curve bumped their record to 64-56 with this latest triumph.

Danny Funes came through with a big-time hit for Altoona. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Funes told the Altoona News.
