Tides Beat Indians, 2-1
|
Jose Acosta could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Indianapolis Indians lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. Norfolk is second in the South Division with a record of 18-11.
Jose Rodriguez, who leads the IL in total bases with 65, helped out the Norfolk cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder went 1-1.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Rodriguez, "and then get after it again."
