In a tight tilt between the Trenton Thunder and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Mario Guadamuz was the deciding factor. The Trenton right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. With the win, the Thunder are 36-86.

Trenton took a 2-0 lead on Abel Bras's 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Bras hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Richmond pitcher Ben Schaffer visibly frustrated.

"Nice to get this one," said Bras. "We've been scuffling."
