David Windsor powered the Altoona Curve to a win over the Bowie Baysox. The final score was 8-3. The Altoona catcher, who is tied for 3rd in the EL with a .335 batting average, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Jared Birdwell snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 3.1 innings. He's now 3-2 on the season. An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the third. That's when Curve right fielder Ricky Gonzalez hit a changeup from Josh Bolton for a 2-run single. Just like that, Altoona was up, 4-3.
