The Richmond Flying Squirrels got a stellar effort from pitcher Brent Fyffe, helping Richmond score a win over the visiting Erie SeaWolves, 3-2, in 10 innings. With the win, the Flying Squirrels improved to 72-52.

The Flying Squirrels got a clutch hit from first baseman Nate Strother. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Flying Squirrels.

"We earned that one," said Fyffe.
