Flying Squirrels Earn 7-4 Win Against Fisher Cats
The Richmond Flying Squirrels and New Hampshire Fisher Cats completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels weathered an outstanding game by New Hampshire second baseman Sandy Felcia to topple the Fisher Cats, 7-4. Felcia was 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Zach Lee picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 6-5. Jason Cramer suffered the loss.

Richmond needed the clutch hitting of Luis Cano to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Flying Squirrels on top, 4-2. For the game, Cano had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Nice win for us," said Cano. "Now we'll go after the next one."

Richmond is in first place in the Northern Division with a record of 79-45.
