Yard Goats Walk It Off for 76th Win of Season
The Hartford Yard Goats defeated the Altoona Curve, 4-2, in Eastern League action at New Britain Stadium. Hartford pitcher Perry Hiller had a standout performance. Hartford, at 76-49, holds down second place in the Northern Division.

Javy Sanchez was the walk-off hero for Hartford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yard Goats designated hitter hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Sanchez said in his postgame press conference.
