The New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Trenton Thunder, 15-6, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Brad Taylor, who is tied for 9th in the EL in total bases with 194, was a standout performer for New Hampshire. His 4 hits included 3 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 3 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. The defeat makes Trenton 37-90.

Kyle Long had a big run-scoring double for the Fisher Cats in the bottom of the first inning. With New Hampshire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Glenn Roehl and swatted a double to left. It was his 23rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fisher Cats ahead, 2-0.

Afterward, Trenton manager Melvin Slosar said: "We've hit a rough patch."
