|
The Trenton Thunder and Richmond Flying Squirrels completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Bates went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 10. Jordan Craig earned the win for Trenton. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 7-7.
Trenton relied on the bat of Jorge Perez to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 4-2. For the game, Perez had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
In postgame remarks, Perez hailed his team's "mettle."
